Joining or leaving the leaderboard, your display name, and how points for the week, all time and streaks are earned.

Leaderboard

The leaderboard is optional. It shows how your studying compares with other students, and nobody sees you on it unless you join.

Joining

Open Leaderboard (signed in), choose a display name (a nickname is fine) and press Join. You can change the name later, or Leave leaderboard at any time.

Other signed-in students see only your display name, your cohort and your scores: never your email, your answers or what you got wrong.

The three boards

  • This week: points from the last 7 days.
  • All time: every point since you started.
  • Streak: your run of study days in a row.

If you've set a cohort, Who to compare with switches between Everyone and your cohort.

How points work

You Points
Answer a quiz or exam question correctly 1
Learn a flashcard or figure label (recall it once) 2
Finish an ebook chapter 10
Each day you study 5

Points are worked out by the server from your synced progress, not sent by the app, so they can't be typed in. Resetting a card never takes points away.

Progress from before you joined counts towards All time, but not This week, so a long guest history doesn't all land on one day. Equal scores share a rank.

Days on the leaderboard run on UTC (07:00 to 07:00 WIB), like streaks.
